The G-Shock Gulfmaster, from the Master of G series, is a watch aimed at seafaring folk. The Master of G series, also known as the Professional Series, seeks to serve the needs of various vocations. Whether you’re into surfing, diving, fishing, kayaking, sailing, or anything oceanic for that matter, well this is the watch for you.
The Gulfman series was first introduced in 1999 with the DW-9700. This was then followed up by the hugely successful and much loved G-9100 in 2007. It has been lauded for its durability, comfort and lightness, in addition to its accurate tide and moon graph.
Today’s GWN-1000 G-Shock Gulfmaster may not be as popular as the G-9100 was in its heyday, but it’s certainly one of, if not our outright, favorite G-Shock watches. It just looks so damn cool and impressive. And guess what it actually is damn cool and impressive. It is featured packed and it’s actually pretty affordable for a high-end G-Shock with Triple Sensor technology. First introduced in 2014, below we’ll look at some of the G-Shock Gulfmaster options currently available. But first lets look at what you get in terms of features when you get yourself a Gulfmaster:
